There is a new tender opened with the Dutch government for subsidy for internationally active businesses. This PSI subsidy request can be submitted up to 23 August 2010 for projects in all economic sectors for to € 750.000 covering 50% of the investment.
PSI – The Private Sector Investment Program (PSI) I program from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development. Its objective is to stimulate investments in growing markets in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Mid and Eastern Europe.
Investment Project – In order to be considered for the PSI subsidy, the investment project must meet certain criteria. One of the parties involved must be registered in a Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) and the other party must be an officially registered business in the country where the project is established. There are also criteria concerning the parties’ financial position, expertise and experience, project feasibility and the project’s effect on the local economy.
New Tender – The final closing date for the project request is 23 August, 2010 at 15:00 CET
Subsidy – The PSI contribution is 50% of the investment, with a maximum of €750,000 per project. In total the minister has made €29.6 million available to PSI for this tender
